You can now book several hotels and guesthouses through this website. I have developed a system that is nothing like the on-line booking facilities used by bigger hotels. I simply don’t believe that at small hotels and guesthouses, where every room is different, you should make bookings the way you buy air tickets on-line, without any personal contact.  If you book at a hotel through my site, you are in direct contact with the owner or manager, who will help you help you make your choice and answer any questions you may have. The hotels are bound by contract to give the best available rate for bookings made through this website, and there are no booking fees. For more information, please go to the about us page.

I realise now what a tricky thing it is to have a news page on this website which I am managing on my own. I work from home, alone (I have no staff) and I am also doing my best to be good a mother for my two boys (and dog & cat, in case you want the full picture). So I really have to juggle things to be able to make trips to hotels and write about them, and to keep all information on my site accurate and up-to-date. (With almost 100 hotels, this is quite a task.) So the one thing tend to slip is adding my news to the news page. If you would like to be kept up to date about my new discoveries, the best thing to do is to sign up for my newsletter, which I send out about four times a year.
